How long of process for review of event submission

Just wondering if there is a ballpark time frame for how long the process of review takes for event submissions.

It really depends on the time of year and the event itself, honestly, but for the initial wave of events you may not hear until late March or some time during April before we gear up for the big release in early May.

Hello Derek and staff,
I was hoping to have an update on the events my group submitted by end of March. So I am just checking in here to see, My Group is Mackenzie's Marauders and we have listed 12 RPG [D&D 4e] events for 2025, its been 6 years since we have been physically to the Con [Covid we ran online events for players] but just have not had the funds to return. Looking forward to this year.

Thank you,

Sean and crew

Great to have you back! I remember y'all - and 4th edition is near and dear to my heart, so great to see some love for that.

We are working through event submissions and will likely be continuing with that through April, so you'll just want to keep an eye out for a notification of your event status changing. That's how we'll let you know if we have any questions or issues, too.

If you have any specific questions or updates, emailing events@gencon.com or asking in Discord may be a faster and more reliable way to get a hold of us.
