Event Team Program

It takes a village to make a convention the size of Gen Con possible! Join the ranks of the best and become a member of the Gen Con Event Team.

You provide time, talent, and expertise in exchange for varying levels of compensation and an opportunity to meet people who share similar interests. Who knows, maybe you'll even discover a new appreciation for the show!

Event Team roles are paid positions with benefits based on the amount of time you want to dedicate during the convention. It is open to those at least 18 years of age.

There are two levels available for new members of our Mentorship program. If you've never attended Gen Con or don't know if you'd enjoy running a show instead of attending, apply to be an Apprentice! This is a good way to see what the Mentorship Program is all about without dedicating your entire Con to it.

If you're a long-time attendee or have experience running conventions, and know that you'd rather be working a convention than attending it, then the Deputy level might be for you!

Applications are OPEN for the 2024 Event Team, please e-mail [email protected] for the application. You should expect a response within 7-10 business days as to the next steps in your application.
