Cool, Phil Foglio was probably the first gaming celebrity I ever met; very fun guy. I seem to recall him making up an absurd "quest" on the spot that I had to fulfill if I wanted his autograph, and of course he then gave it to me for free anyway. Probably wondering why someone who looked underage was having him sign a copy of the XXXenophile card game.

I mean to be honest can you really not confirm that there wont be any raccoons at gencon with any surety ?

I'll certainly accept her word that no raccoons are scheduled. That's not to say there won't be any pop-up raccoon events out back between the dumpster and the nearest storm drain

They are only "Media Guests of Honor" if they are hosted by Gen Con themselves. I believe Summer and Marina were guests of exhibitors, and Wil has attended to either promote G&S/Tabletop or just to play games.

Nope, Glau and Sirtis were both Gen Con Media Guests of Honor in 2015.

Wheaton was a Media Guest of Honor in 2010 and 2012.

Wheaton has been there other years as just a gamer. Pretty sure I said hi to him in passing in 2015.

Was Nichelle Nichols a GoH in 2012, or was she just here for the Star Trek Catan launch?

I am a second or third (I can't remember which) cousin. His mother is my mom's aunt. I was a guest in her house about ten years ago. She had his original artwork all up on her walls. I absolutely fell in love with his work. I've been reading Girl Genius off and on for a few years, good stuff.
