Hi all. I need some help on my Halloween costume and I figured who better to ask than the cosplayers of Gen Con. So my family (Wife, 4 month old son, & myself) are going to theme ourselves as Guardians of the Galaxy. Son will be baby Groot, Wife will be Gamora, and I am going to be Star Lord.

Well Wife and Son's costumes are done, but I've done nothing for my Star Lord costume. The store bought ones look so bad, and the good ones online are more money than I really want to spend.

With that said, I have an older Black Leather jacket, that if I could make it red would work really well. So my question is, can I make the black leather into red leather, and what do I use?
