I'm new to the JW Marriott this year and wondering where the best chill spaces for people to just play boardgames with friends will be.

For reference, we spent many many hours at the Crowne Plaza Union Station ballroom in past years, but that will be a hike from the JW.

There is a big open gaming ballroom in the JW.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis offers many spacious and comfortable spaces, very suitable for gatherings to play board games with friends. First, you can explore the Skywalk Lounge Solitaired area right on the corridors connecting to neighboring buildings. The soft armchairs and small wooden tables here are usually quite empty in the morning and mid-afternoon, creating a quiet space to arrange chess pieces and chat comfortably.
