All the food truck lanyards are overpriced and will give you dysentery, except for Der Pretzel Lanyard, which is the only lanyard worth waiting in line for.

Sorry... those should have been turned in before the end of the Con in 1977 which would have been applied towards a lanyard this year... (provided he didn't use up all of his credit prior to this year...)

But you may be able to auction them!

These 4-day lanyards are just not enough.  I don't understand why Gen Con just doesn't make it a 5-day lanyard.  People want it....it's a no brainer and wouldn't cost anything.

It used to be that you would get a bag full of lanyard at every Gen Con, but nowadays you barely get anything, mostly just a coupon for some lanyards that you don't want.

I waited for 3 hours each day for the Exhibit Hall to open, walked chanting "Do Not Run" as fast as I could to get in line only to find out I was 51st in line & they were only selling 50 Lanyards each day! What a shame!

At Gen Con XII in Parkside, the lanyards were made of spider-silk and the badge clasps were solid gold.

When I was your age, if we wanted a lanyard, we had to walk to Lake Geneva and back.  It was twenty miles through five feet of snow, uphill both ways!

The chance at confusion if we offered a 5-Day lanyard made it impractical.
Since Trade Day is on Wednesday it was deemed that it would be misleading to the bulk of the attendees.
The 4-Day lanyard is also designed to work for 4 days. We could not get the 5-Day lanyard to stand up to the stress of actually using it for 5 Days.
In our tests the 5-Day lanyard suffered severe setbacks emotionally and in some cases their poor little clasps just gave out.
