Is the number in parens the count of rooms available?
Any inside intel on the spread of times in the lottery? What's the latest time seen or reported?

Didn't they also shorten the time it can sit in your cart before check out? I swear it was longer than 10 minutes last year. I think that is AWESOME! I know a couple years ago I had a 1:50 ish time and there were no downtown rooms showing up, but an hour later there were and I attribute it to those rooms sitting in carts that got released back. Thanks again Alex for keeping tabs on this!

As it is, I'm just watching Alec's posting and trying to help out the group here a bit - I think things are moving so fast right now that he's focused on keeping the Fans of Gen Con group up and an "official" post from Alec is pending at some point (I don't know him and haven't had any communication with him - just trying to help a bit)
FYI: Even if something is listed as "sold out", Alec keeps periodically seeing rooms "pop back in" to the portal as groups adjust their plans.
