For the professional level, are you allowed to compete as a group? Since both cosplayers technically fit the professional level, is this allowed or do they have to compete separately?

Pretty sure you can do as a group, I have seen professional groups before (pretty sure there were some last year, though I cannot say for sure as I was competing for the first time as a novice last year).

You can do professional as a group.  Sewing is half the battle does that most years.
