This was much more chill in 2018 than it was for Gen Con 50. It was soooo bad at Gen Con 50.

Yeah, this. I understand that some love it, but to me, for years now, it's been nothing but an aggravating distraction.

I'm really not sure what the problem is, I have his voice and announcements as my ring tone.

I definitely only had fond memories of the Exhibition Hall Voiceover Guy for years, but I do also have vague memories of being annoyed by it one year, so maybe that was the infamous "way too loud" voice year?  50?  I guess?
