Though not a gamer, Stan lee imo has had one of the biggest impressions on the gaming community outside of the game developers.
Most every gamer i've played with was a fan of some marvel comic or other...

Most every gamer i've played with was a fan of some marvel comic or other...
That's no accident, as Stan's works tickle many of the same facets of imagination that tabletop roleplaying games do.
