I have a time of 3 hours, 10 minutes & 33 seconds as of 12:02pm, so, I'm looking at essentially 3:15pm EST before I can log in.

Yeah.  Keeping the 8-day reservation I have for a corner king at the Embassy, $189/nt.  See y'all in August!

Will it be obvious how to get on the wait list? Is it an option from the housing portal when I get on to find nothing?

There is no wait list for a housing room this year, only for shoulder dates for existing reservations.  You'll have to keep checking the system, or here on the fourms, for room drops.  Which there will be.

OK Thanks, was not aware no wait list but I guess it keeps overheads down and put's it onto those searching...
