It's unlikely, but I don't work for GenCon, so I'm just speculating.
However, this year if you have unused generics as you leave, trade them in for system credit at the customer service desk; that way they'll retain some value toward next year's badge and/or events!

No.
If you have unused generics they must be returned before the end of the con for system credit.
