Any official stance on so-called "hoverboards"?

Is someone actually comparing someone using a hover board (a toy) to those requiring wheelchairs and scooters for mobility or disability  reasons? Really?

Don't you think that, given the choice, a mobility-challenged or disabled person would rather be able to move around freely without the added issues that their disability brings?

SMH.

I think this is getting a bit out of hand.  Of course motorized vehicles required for ADA needs are welcome and allowed.  Hoverboards are not ADA devices, not welcome, and not allowed, period.  I don't think we need to continue this conversation any further.  If you have a disability that requires a motorized assistive device and you have any concerns about it being welcome at Gen Con, you're more than welcome to email [email protected], but otherwise, I think there's nothing else to say on this topic.
