How can I partake in the VIG lottery for next year?

In November or December of 2016 you can email vig@gencon.com with your name and the email address that your account is made under. That will enter you into the random drawing to be held in early January of 2017.

You might also be well-advised to have a lot of your friends sign up for accounts as well, and enter the lottery.

Because the chances of obtaining one are slim, so you'll want to maximize your chances by having as many e-mail addresses registered in the lottery as possible.

Friends can certainly sign up as well, but if you are selected in the random drawing, that selection is not transferrable.

It isn't transferable but VIGs can get VIG companion passes for their friends (essentially the same thing).

But starting next year each VIG will only be allowed 1 companion each.

Basically the VIG thing is incredibly difficult to get and there is really no transparency.
