Suggestion: events that are "overlappable"

I wanted to get tickets for the charity nerd night event and other events that are many hours long but set up with the ability to drop in and out.
but I can't because I have a ticketed event that overlaps (or vice versa - couldn't get to the other event until I returned the all-night event.)

is there any chance that for the future, you can add the option for events to be noted as "drop in-drop out" events so that people are not restricted from buying other events that overlap in that time frame?

They already have that option. The ability to allow an event to overlap with other events must be requested by the EO (or so I've been told in the past).
