Steps:

1. Write some entries on separate lines (paragraphs).
   
2. Select them.  (I used the mouse.)
   
3. Click the (1/2) or (*/*) button in the editing toolbar.

Expected:
The items in parens are left on the same line (paragraph) as their parent, as they are while editing.

Actual:
The items in parens are broken to a new line after finalizing your post.
